Cafe Digi is open for business!

I'm rather proud of my drawing efforts today, though it came at the cost of my neck.  I'm suffering from a serious case of 'artist's neck' and I may have to take tomorrow off to let my poor spine recover.  ...I SHOULD, but I probably won't.

I tried to go in a slightly different direction with the stamps that I posted today.  They're less 'chibi' than the majority of my other stamps.  I am extraordinarily curious how they will go over. What do you think?  I sincerely appreciate your constructive criticism.  Be brutal, if you need.

Now, I'm off to take a long, hot soak in the tub.  See you tomorrow!  (...maybe?)

Another cute Caz creation!

I really enjoy the symmetrical sensibilities of this crafter.  Everything looks so precise and perfect.  I'm so excited to show off her darling cards here.  Thank you, Caz!!

Penguin Party

Yay for Friday!  I'm having fantasies about hitting the coffee shop and spending all day tomorrow with a sketchpad and pens.  Mwahahaha!

For you, though, I have two new stamps.  I'm rather enamored of Adeline here.  I'm really not sure where she came from.  She just sort of appeared on my pad!

I was browsing about on my lunch break today, wondering what to draw next, when I came across a blog stating that one of my papercraft idols was feeling a bit ill.  This one's for her.  :-)

Have a wonderful weekend all you crazy kids, and make lots of amazing things!!

Sparkly Fairy

Yesterday I happened upon a very cute card made by Caz over at Bunny's Bits n Bobs.  I love the layout of this card, the pretty pink pearls and the fun sparkles she added to Rosebud the Fairy!

New Stamps! Finally!!

Hey Y'all!

I was finally able to update the shop this morning before heading out to work.  For those interested, I have a 9 to 5 working as a counselor at a local college which shall remain nameless.  I'm on the phone a lot, so that's when I do most of my stamp designing.

Today I posted numbers 4, 5 and 6 of my Cirque du Digi collection.  It was, in part, inspired by the Natalie Merchant music video for "Kind and Generous."  I absolutely loved it back when it first came out and the image of her as the human cannonball was really what drove me to draw all six of them.  Check out the stamps below and, if you'd like to see the music video, go here: http://youtu.be/rdG618TMc5E

Also posted today was little Lorelei.  I will be using her myself to make a birthday card later this week.

And I will leave you today with another beautiful card by the tremendously talented Lisa of Paper Craft Bliss using the 'Looks Like Rain Xandra' stamp.

So tired...

No new stamps again tonight.  :(  The sad thing is that I've got four of them all ready to post, but I'm not able tonight due to ongoing technical issues.  I should be able to post them first thing in the morning before work, though.  Cross your fingers for me.

Beautiful Seafoam

Hello Lovelies!

I was thrilled to receive a note from Dawn of LilyPinkScraps (http://lilypinkscraps.blogspot.com/) with this absolutely beautiful card using Seafoam the Mermaid.  I adore the shells and seaweed and the coloring is breathtaking.  You crafters constantly amaze me!!

Wow, I'm blown away!  Today is awesome card day, apparently.  Thanks guys, for really picking a girl up after a hard day.

This next one is by the very talented Trina.  Please visit her blog to see her other works of art: http://trinamadethis.blogspot.com/

Booyagirl

Wow, check out the gorgeous card that Tracey, aka Booyagirl, made using Bibi Balloons!

Alas for the Circus

Oh my goodness! Such a long day at work today and I come home to find my scanner out of commission. Unfortunately, no new stamps tonight, but look for a big shop update tomorrow- including *sneak peek* *sneak peek* *sneak peek* a super pack of all my Cirque du Digi stamps!

But there is good news! Lisa, of Paper Craft Bliss, has made another fantastic card using the Ballerina stamp.

Check out her blog and all her other fabulous creations at http://papercraftbliss.com/blog/!

The new MayzyArt blog

Hello and welcome to the MayzyArt blog! This will be your place to view new stamps, share amazing papercraft creations using my stamps (made by you!), and get inside info on sales!

What is MayzyArt? The answer to that question lies here: www.mayzyart.etsy.com. I am a purveyor of digital stamps with the goal of providing richly detailed, high quality stamps to the modern stamper. Beautiful stamps, fun themes, low prices. MayzyArt!

This is, as you may have noticed, my first post. I'm really just being experimental here. Things are probably a mess! While I love to draw and create stamps, all this web designy stuff is way over my head. Please be patient with me. (And hey, I'm open to any pointers you may have!!)
